This two-part online (virtual) course will support coaches to better understand autistic players and create more inclusive rugby environments. The sessions will explore communication differences, sensory processing, anxiety and behaviour, and provide practical strategies coaches can use during training and matches.
The training focuses on clear communication, adapting environments, recognising signs of distress, and supporting players through co-regulation and structured coaching approaches. Coaches will leave with practical tools to help players feel safe, confident and able to participate.
